Jacque Christensen
Founder & Principal Designer
Jacque brings over two decades of experience and a deeply personal approach to thoughtfully crafted residential interiors. A graduate of Colorado State University’s Interior Design program, Jacque has been practicing since 2005 and holds both NCIDQ certification and LEED AP accreditation—credentials that reflect her commitment to excellence, integrity, and sustainable design.
Her career began with a wide range of architectural and interior projects, providing a strong foundation that naturally led her to high-end residential work, where her creativity truly shines. Jacque is known for designing homes that feel elegant yet welcoming, layered yet livable—spaces that reflect not just beauty, but the rhythms and stories of the people who live in them.
Jacque met her husband while working at her first architectural firm, and together they are raising four children and two dogs. Life outside the studio is a constant source of inspiration, whether she’s traveling, skiing, playing tennis, or spending time outdoors. A love of cooking, meaningful conversation, and discovering new experiences shapes both her personal life and her design philosophy.
At the heart of Jacque’s work is a belief that true luxury lies in intention—homes designed with care, grounded in timeless beauty, and enriched by purpose, comfort, and meaning.
Amalia Van Bloom
Principal Designer
Amalia “Molly” Van Bloom is a Principal Interior Designer at Jacque Christensen Design. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and brings over 18 years of experience to the design field, beginning her career in graphic design before transitioning to interiors.
Molly and Jacque first connected while working together at a previous design firm. When Jacque launched her own practice, she quickly recognized the value of Molly’s talent, perspective, and collaborative approach—making her a Principal Designer of the firm.
Molly’s favorite part of the design process is helping clients transform their spaces into homes they are proud of. She has a particular love for older homes and historic architectural details, an aesthetic she thoughtfully weaves into her projects whenever possible.
Outside of work, Molly enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children, often found at sporting events or enjoying family walks, bike rides, and hikes. In her free time, she loves working on her own home, tackling creative projects, and relaxing on the front porch with neighbors.
Jennifer Huston
Executive Assistant
Jennifer Huston is the Executive Assistant at Jacque Christensen Design, bringing a dynamic background in retail management, visual merchandising, product development, and women’s retail buying. Her diverse experience provides valuable insight into both the creative and operational sides of the design process.
Jennifer and Jacque became friends through their children’s preschool, and when Jacque presented Jennifer with the opportunity to join her growing firm, Jennifer eagerly embraced the chance to learn from an inspiring female entrepreneur. With a lifelong love of design and a strong interest in the industry, the role proved to be a perfect fit at just the right time.
No two days are ever the same, and Jennifer thrives on the fast pace and variety. Her responsibilities include supporting daily operations, managing social media, and assisting with client accessorizing—selecting everything from curated décor pieces to rugs, bedding, wallpaper, and fabrics. She enjoys contributing creative input and inspiration across all design projects.
Outside of work, Jennifer loves spending time with her husband and their two children. She enjoys hosting family gatherings, entertaining friends, and creating welcoming spaces for meals and celebrations.
Carolina Gomez Rios
Interior Designer
Carolina brings creativity and a fresh perspective to every project. Originally from Colombia, she draws inspiration from her cultural background to bring unique style and ideas to her work. She brings over five years of interior design experience, plus a unique blend of professional photography expertise.
Carolina achieved her Associates Degree in Interior Design from Metro Community College, blending technical skills with an artistic eye to create spaces that feel both thoughtful and visually engaging. Fluent in English and Spanish, she values collaborating closely with clients to bring their vision to life, and most importantly create a meaningful connection within their space.
Outside of work, Carolina loves traveling, dancing, spending time with family and friends, and discovering cozy cafés or unique restaurants with great ambiance.
Chandlar Dixon
Office Manager
Chandlar is the organizational backbone of Jacque Christensen Design, bringing a strong blend of operations experience, customer care, and design-firm support to the team. She keeps the office running smoothly, coordinates the many moving parts of each project, and makes sure clients, vendors, and the team always have what they need. Known for her efficiency and problem-solving mindset, she helps create a seamless, enjoyable experience throughout every stage of a project.
With several years of experience working within the design industry, Chandlar has developed a deep understanding of how to manage workflows, support creative teams, and keep details aligned behind the scenes.
When she’s not at the office, you’ll usually find her crafting, hanging out with friends and family and going to all the local Dundee spots.
